What’s new in Spairo

Spairo now keeps your last scan when you close the app and tells you when it's time to scan again.

• NewYour last scan is saved and reloaded when you open Spairo again, and Overview shows when it was made.
• NewWhen a scan is more than a day old, Overview shows a notice with a Rescan button and the Rescan button in the toolbar is highlighted, even if the app has stayed open.
• ImprovedThe Quick Clean review is more compact: the total takes up a single line and the list fills the window in two balanced columns, with each explanation on one line and shown in full when you hover over it.

Spairo can now show how your disk usage changes over time, look into iCloud Drive and keep duplicates without them taking extra space.

• NewA new Trends section shows which folders grew or shrank since an earlier scan and, after two days of data, estimates when your disk would fill up; this estimate also appears in the menu bar panel.
• NewA new iCloud Drive section shows how much space your downloaded iCloud files take on this Mac and how much is only in iCloud, and lets you remove downloads without deleting anything from iCloud.
• NewIn Duplicates, "Keep Both, Share Space" keeps every copy where it is but stores identical files only once, and copies that already share space are marked and no longer counted as space you can recover.
• NewWhen you remove an app that leaves data behind, Spairo lets you know and takes you straight to reviewing and removing it; you can turn this off in Settings.
• NewThe developer section now lists the disks used by containers and virtual machines, with the real space each one takes and how to shrink it.
• NewYou can choose a light, dark or system appearance in Settings > General.

A small update that makes the risk labels easier to read when your Mac is in light mode.

• ImprovedThe risk labels and icons now use darker colors on light backgrounds, so they are easier to read in light mode, and they switch automatically when your Mac changes between light and dark appearance.

A small update to the English interface: Smart Clean is now called Quick Clean.
